The customs code is 8543 40. The US tariffs are in the <a href=\"https:\/\/hts.usitc.gov\/\" rel=\"noopener\">HTS<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The US tariff on electronic cigarettes and similar personal electric vaporizing devices with substances containing nicotine is <strong>2.6%<\/strong> (code 8543.40.00.20). There is an additional China tariff (25%).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some states have an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/statesystem\/factsheets\/ecigarette\/ECigTax.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">e-cigarette tax<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit Premarket Tobacco Product Application (PMTA) before importing e-cigarettes to the US.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>E-cigarettes and other electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) are classified as tobacco products by the <a href=\"https:\/\/examinechina.com\/blog\/fda\/\">US Food and Drug Administration<\/a> (FDA).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FDA regulates the production, sale, promotion, advertising, distribution, importation, packaging, and labeling of e-cigarettes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Register your ENDS in the FDA\u2019s Unified Registration and Listing Systems (FURLS) online.
