It has been running for over 70 years, and every year it attracts thousands of exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors. The fair has an international character as more than half of the exhibitors are from outside of Germany. Its partner status fits the \u201cMaking Indonesia 4.0\u201d initiative, which aims to face the challenges of the 4<sup>th<\/sup> industrial revolution and elevate Indonesia\u2019s status as an important global industry player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">History of Hannover Messe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first fair took place in 1947 to boost German economic growth. In 2023 the key topics will be pathways to climate neutrality, sustainable industrial production, IT security, and global market reorganization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exhibitors and visitors at Hannover Messe<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021, the trade show took place online, and there were 1,800 exhibitors and 90 thousand of visitors. In 2022 the fair was held in a hybrid form. For five days, 75 thousand visitors had access to 2,500 digital booths.
