You can pay using Alipay at:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>grocery stores, brick-and-mortar stores, street stalls, convenience stores\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>entertainment venues\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>etc.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Compared with WeChat Pay, you cannot pay with Alipay on public buses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alipay digital wallet \u2013 how to link a bank account to Alipay?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t need a Chinese bank account to link it to your Alipay \u2013 you can use a foreign bank card. The caveat is that it is valid for three months, and you can only load up to a maximum of 10,000 CNY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to pay using Alipay in China?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Using Alipay is very simple. Once you are in a store or a restaurant:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>open your app and show your QR code\/barcode to the seller\/waiter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>at the checkout counter, open your app and scan the blue QR code with the app.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You need an internet connection to make payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When making the transaction, remember that there are additional fees above a certain threshold.
